David: I would like to take this opportunity to compliment the Nevada PTA for a wonderful 2012 convention. I have had the opportunity to represent male engagement and the Watch D.O.G.S. program at many conferences. I have met some awesome people throughout this great nation and had some tremendous opportunities with many organizations. However, I can honestly say that I have never felt so welcome nor seen more excitement about male engagement than I have with Nevada PTA. Your Board really “gets it” about the importance of parental involvement in education and that “parent” is not just synonymous with “mom”. To Kimberly, Amy, yourself, Kelly, Jennifer and especially, of course “Kirt”, I offer my most heartfelt thanks. I look forward to working in the partnership between Nevada PTA and Watch D.O.G.S. I hope that you have a lot of fun with the Man Card! This is going to be a great ride!
